Inspiration and Intention for Movie [100 words]
My model has been developed through the inspiration of flowers, dandelions and spirals. I have tried to keep a ‘natural’ feel to them. I have used high gloss paint on the main model, and a blue metal texture on my spirals.
During my video, I would like my model to float through space almost weightlessly, as if it has been blown off a dandelion. I would like it to slowly spin and possibly suddenly explode into nothing at the end of the video. The spirals will move simultaneously, though will also spin in a direction of their own. Hopefully I can get the petals on the spirals to twist down it, eventually falling off the end to the ground.

Inspiring Images
The different small petals in this flower are amazing how they all come together to create this one flower. I can imagine them all falling off and softly floating to the ground. Almost like a dandelion.
Falling Leaves: I wanted my model to explode during my animation and I thought it would be awesome to have parts fall like leaves to the ground.
Snowflakes.
Spirals
Another inspiration would be ninja stars. These are quite viscous looking and made out of metal. Could be interesting to have this type of feeling created in my animation?

1st Rendering Experiment
These were my first renders out of 'Deep Exploration'. I will be doing more work on my Sketch-Up model with the drawings I have done.
And I have to still work out how the colours and materials/textures work in Deep Exploration. I don't quite understand the concept yet. These colours didnt render out how I wanted them too. But they are still interesting and have almost a violent feel.
